I am part of a group calling for education reform and the inclusion of information literacy in the National Curriculum and examination content. I am also a founder member of the Media and Information Literacy Alliance ( MILA )

I am a member of the National Literacy Trust, The School Library Association, The International Association of School Librarianship and the National Education Union.

I help out with career development for students as an active member of Founders4Schools
